Quality IPR teaching – to your home sofa!

Changes in the working life have created the need for a new set of necessary skills, which should be mastered almost regardless of one’s job duties. Information technology is a common part of almost everyone’s daily life and free time, and digitality has also created skill requirements related to data protection and artificial intelligence, among others.

Intellectual property rights are an important area of expertise which you can use to act without infringing others’ rights, to get credited for your own work and to ultimately gain economic benefit. Our objective is to broadly offer IPR knowledge and teaching in order to transform the know-how and mastery of intellectual property rights into a part of Finnish civics.

IPR University Center and the Finnish Patent and Registration Office jointly maintain a learning environment focused at intellectual property rights. The platform contains various courses targeted at different occupational and student groups. A part of the courses are available for everyone and can be registered to freely.
