IPR University Center supports intellectual property research and collaboration
IPR University Center plays a key role in increasing the visibility of intellectual property (IP) research and in fostering collaboration between academic and industry professionals. We aim to provide space and opportunities to present research, network across disciplines, and connect with others in the field.
We organize a wide range of trainings, events, and conferences tailored to researchers. Most events for researchers are free of charge, and detailed information about costs is always provided in the event description. Information about upcoming events, trainings, and other relevant seminars is shared with those on our dedicated research mailing list — we encourage researchers to join.
See also our other services for researchers, including a scholarship fund to help cover the costs of education and training related to intellectual property rights.
IP Morning -seminars
The IP Morning events organized by the IPR University Center offer researchers and academic experts a unique opportunity to present recent findings from the fields of legislation and research, as well as to share up-to-date insights on intellectual property rights. These events bring together both academic actors and practitioners, providing a forum for diverse and engaging discussion on current topics. The events are open to all, and their aim is to increase the visibility of Finnish IPR research and to foster collaboration.
Are you interested in presenting your research, engaging in discussions on current legal practices, or exploring key topics in intellectual property? You can choose a time that suits you best. Our events are held online, typically last 45–90 minutes, and are open to everyone — including students and IP professionals. The aim is to highlight university-based IP research and promote knowledge-sharing throughout the field.
