Folke Johansson is Director (Patent Department) at Papula-Nevinpat and European Patent Attorney. He is also a partner in the company.

Folke first started his Intellectual Property career in 1991 when he was hired as a patent agent at a Finnish patent agency. In 1995 he moved to the Nokia where he as a Director and member of the IPR management group. He managed a patent portfolio of 3500 patent families and headed the IPR support for the mobile phones business group including supporting in- and out-licensing, patent litigation and acquisition and divestments of patents.

Folke joined Papula-Nevinpat in 2010 as Director of the Patent Department where he is responsible for internal processes and competence development as well as for developing client relationships. Folke regularly acts as an expert in patent litigations, and has a lot of experience of Oral Hearings before the European Patent Office (EPO), both before the Examining Division as well as before the Opposition Division and the Boards of Appeal.

Folke travels frequently, lecturing and speaking at conferences about EP, PCT and US patent systems as well as patent management and strategy.
