Jakob Wested
Phd, LL.M. (cand.jur) and BA (philosophy), Post doc at University of Copenhagens’s Centre for Advanced Studies in Biomedical Innovation Law (CeBIL). Jakob is part of CeBIL collaborative research program working with the research groups on Orphan drugs and precision medicine. He has previously worked on both IPR and EU regulatory issues related to synthetic biology, particularly CRISPR technology, and clinical development and approval of medicinal products. His current work focus on mapping the life cycle of an orphan drug and the intersection of institutions, incentive mechanisms and domains such as precision medicine.
Linda Norrgård
European and Finnish Patent Attorney, and Team Leader for Papula-Nevinpat’s Chemistry and Process Technology Team. Linda has over 12 years of experience of working as a patent attorney. She has prosecuted a wide range of inventions relating to the field of chemistry, including organic chemistry and medicine. She has been a frequent speaker at various events and IPR training programs, which has given her a good sense of perspective on the challenges businesses are facing in IP issues. Linda is also currently the vice chairman of the Association for Finnish Patent Attorneys.
Miika Tupala
A European Patent Attorney who regularly works with protecting inventions in the field of artificial intelligence. An engineer with a personal doctor at home.
